Losi xxxt sport rtr

I see there is two styles of the losi xxxt rtr one with brushed motor the other with a brushless.will the speed control on the brushmotor truck work with brushless motor.iam havent ben into the rc hobby for a few year the last truck i had was the losi xt i believe it was and i havent kept up with the new stuff. will both styles work together.

The speed control on the brushed one will not work with a BL motor. The brushed truck has a Team Losi Sport ESC by Novak, and the BL truck has a super sport plus ESC. I think the super sport esc included in the BL edition will work with BL motors and brushed motors.

It only works with Brushless...I just bought one. Quite disappointed however, as the motor was bad. The little that I did get to drive the truck on my track, it handled well. Losi did their homework, Novak did not :(

I would contact novak about that. Novak is very good with their customer support, and you should get a new motor (given that the warranty is still in effect). You may have to go through losi, though.
