Pactra paints are lacquer based and can etch the lexan so when you remove the paint, the body may be hazed.
You can brush on some Dot3 brake fluid and let it sit for a couple hours.
Otherwise, it just isn't worth the effort.

brake fluid works but it does take for ever but the newer the paint is the quicker it works:D i just took paint off that was 23 years old took 2 days of soaking it but didnt hurt a single decal i was very surprized i have before and after pics if you want to see.

Paint removers works by penetration. It has to soak through the paint, get under it and lift it off the surface. The thicker and older the paint, the longer it takes. Brake fluid works better then some because it doesn't evaporate like others, which allows it to soak longer.
Brushing it on works good if you can apply it very thick. Also it will help if you could stick the body in a plastic bag, like the one it came in, and tape it up to keep it air tight.
Otherwise, if you could fill a bucket up and submerge the body in it, that would work better. Only you'd need a large enough container for the body and a gallon or so of brake fluid. Which would exceed the cost of a new body. :D

Buggy, does that stuff work on lacquer paints too?
Is it a gel or liquid, and if a liquid, is it more like oil, or does it evaporate fairly quickly?

If you're quick about it, Lacquer thinner and a strong paper towel(s) will work. This has saved my bacon a time or three -see pic of 'saved wreck'- :o
Good Luck!
