Info on OS motor 60 SR must be real old?

Purchased an uncompleted project that came with a never run os max 60 sr i think. Is what is on the side of the block the mod#?
I also have some misc hardware which i have no clue as to what it is for if i snap some pix will someone hold my hand and id them?

This is my first rc boat some some baby sitting will be needed thanks in advance.
