I am going to try to build a custom truck made of alumenium and clod tires and is powered by a 13 turn double, and it is going to be a mini!!! I know it sounds crazy but I think it will be fun. and I think it can pull a few pounds and it could pull some crazy wheelies!!! (the enemy of pulling) i will make some counter weights.

About 10 years back there were all kinds of companies that made upgrades to Clod Busters and other RC vehicles for pulling. There are a few companies ESP (don't confuse with Elite Speed Products) that made chassis for the Clod Buster. Andy's made an extra Ford S10, and there were other companies that made sleds and other items. Zeta made a high amp ESC, Thorp made harden gears & axles.

Wedico, Robbe and Tamiya produce realistic trucks ...
Perhaps a good starting point for your project
