good cheap charger

i need the best charger for the cheapest price. i need a charger for Lipos and NiMH. i was gonna get the triton because it was $79 but now that the triton 2 came out, its disscontinued.

It looks like the charger will charge the battery, based on the description. I would be suprised if the battery did not fit the B4, although I have never tried this.

The hobbico charger will not work with the Peak 4800 LiPo. The charger will charge up to three lipo/li-ion cells, and the peak lipo is four cells. Would the Duratrax Ice charger work? I know it's not very cheap, but it gets the job done, and RCCA has tested it! :D

The 4 cell 4800 has to be considered a 2S and can be charged by a 2s charger like the hobbico MKII. The only thing to look out for is the max timer.

The MKII has a 180 minute time-out so would do about 6000 or so. In fact , it will do 2 batts at one time. It is really a nice versatile but simple charger and cheap too.

so should i get the team orion one just to be safe? and how long will a 4800 lipo last in a 5.5 Novak Brushless?

I would get the Orion one to be safe, although the hobbico charger will work as guver pointed out. The descision is up to you, so choose well! :D

The ice and the triton are the best two mentioned in my opinion.
