Aye, guys. I need to get a new charger that has NiMH peaking abilities. I'm looking for something that has the most bang for the buck.. somewhere between like $50 and $75. Unfortunately I can't spend like $140 on a super nice racing charger. I've got a Tekin BC48 and a BC112A but they don't support NiMH cells and I can't really afford to upgrade them. I'm definitely open to getting something used, though the main concern is the price range. I'd love it to have a few things:
Integrated discharger or conditioner
AC powered
I know that's a lot to ask for, but I'm sure you guys can understand. I am just getting back into the hobby and I've already spent over $250 in little parts in the last 3 days when I had like $100 budgeted. Anyway, I appreciate it, guys.

if ur looking 4 a charger/discharger that does every cell indv. then ur over 100$. i suggest the MRC Super Brain 977. im pretty sure it disch. packs. look into it.
I agree, but the 977 is going to be like $100, it will charge up to 5 amps, and do two packs at once, it will also discharge on one channel at up to 4 amps.

Take a look at this charger. Charges up to 6.5A and discharges at 10A, and is AC/DC.
It's within your budget too. $75

That Duratrax charger is a pulse charger. It has been said that pulse charging Ni-Mh cells isn't the best because they like a constant charge. With that said, many people use those chargers with no issues.
In your price range the Duratrax Parana Digital or the MRC 959 would be good choices. They don't have the features you'd like though, but those would be difficult to find for that price.

Do some research on the Intellipeak chargers, Jeff. I have one and it suits my needs perfectly. AC/DC, nicd/nimh, discharging, cycling. Check the Scratch & Dent (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/listings/listdent.html) on Tower (http://towerhobbies.com) under car and truck accessories, and flight line and track. I was able to find one for $27.50, half of the original price because it had been used briefly and was missing a manual that takes 10 seconds to print from their site.

Hey, guys. I really appreciate it. The MRC 977 Sounds really nice, but I don't think I can justify spending quite that much right now seeing as how I don't have a track around and I'm just bashing. But I think that I have a good idea of whats out there at this point. I appreciate it! Thanks, guys.

What do you guys think about:

or

?
They're in my price range and they seem to both do peack charging of NiMH cells which is the main thing I need. I'd love to have a discharger and to charge multiple packs at a time, but I can't really afford that 977 right now. Any thoughts?

In my opinion a discharger is a waste on a charger, and if you want one then the pulse , mini-pulse , deluxe pulse, and digital pulse can all be within your price range.
