View Full Version : Refinished Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel

Here is a photo of my Hanger-9 refinished Sopwith Camel. It is covered with antique super fabric and painted with Brodak olive drab dope. It has a magnum 70-4 stroke for power. I also moved the servos forward and put a 5-cell battery pack in the weight box. I also had to put an additional five ounces of lead in the nose. I'm using Brodak dope now because SIG is no longer making olive drab.
It seems that not many modelers are using dope anymore.

May I ask the dimensions of these aircraft?????

I'd like to build one.

Did you get a kit? If so where?

Are they scratch built? Where did you get plans???
