When i was running my RS4 MT, i hit a snowbank pretty hard (like full force)and then i seen a huge dirt storm when i try to drive it back to me. Come to find out, i had only front wheel drive. Of course, i ran a couple more batterys because it was kind of fun. Then when I finlly got that pully systome apart, the spring pin had cut in half and the rear pully didnt work. Also many other pins where saverly bent so i was wondering if there is a company that makes super hard spring pins. Any help would be very helpfull.

Kyosho experimented with front-wheel drive back in the late '80s. It never really worked out because of handling problems and nose dives during jumps. This was because they were putting the motor forward of the 50/50 line where it was driving a gear box transmission. However, to the best of my knowledge, no one's tried a front wheel drive concept where the front wheels are engaged by a belt powered from the rear.

Off the cuff I would think the belt wouldn't last long under that strain but Losi has a platform out now that uses only one drive belt for both the rear and fore diffs.

Maybe it's time to experiment with the concept again.
