Losi XXX Spur&Pinion Recommendation

What size of pinion and spur gear do you guys recommend for my new Losi XXX to obtain the most speed. I currently have a Super Rooster ESC, and a P2K stock motor. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Find out what the instruction recommend and start going up in the pinion. Just make sure you don't ruin the motor by going too high.

I too, Own a XXX, And I run a P2K stock motor, and a fusion ESC, I gear mine 23 pinion, and 82 spur, you could go like 22 and with a 78, or 76 and this will give you about the same gear ratio, but will give you more traction positioning the motor more over the rear wheels, I think my manual reccomended a 28, 82 combo, I would not gear that high, could say 23, numbers look alike, but if it is an open track, then gear it a little higher.
