Foam tire truing for TCs

from what I've heard your touring car tires must be all exactly the same diameter. Well I race with foams and use the same tires constantly and never true them. My car runs fine never any problems http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif so should I true my tires? will it improve its performance?

The idea is not to improve performance, its to maintain it. If you have a tire on one corner wearing more than the others, it can make the car feel like the chassis has been tweaked(turns better in one direction than the other). Of course, when you true them, their overall diameter decreases, changing your car's rollout, so you also have to alter its gearing to maintain it's speed.... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
