spooky moter

when I turn the car on the moter takes off and runs for about 3-5 seconds the will not work agen. I tryed cleaning the moter, swiching the wires and re-programing the speed control. what should I do. The moter is a speed gems 2 15t4 tah speed control is a streak. HELP!

No, he means connect the battery directly up to the motor, just see if it runs, if it works its a problem with the speed control, if not, its either the battery or the motor.

Sounds to me like you may have a problem with one of 2 things... #1, maybe the receiver, do you still have steering? If yes, then #2, maybe the ESC, it could have been damaged and is not working properly. I had a similar problem recently, it turned out to be the ESC, I sent it to the manufacturer (Novak), they sent me a refurbed Tempest Max for only $21 including shipping.

its doing it agen. (no i didnt drive in water) i checked the miter and the speed control. i have steering so i dont think it is the reciver. i evin bought a new battery and am having the problemm."HELP PLEASE"!

Did you solder capacitors to the motor?

Is your ESC programmed correctly? Are the settings on your transmitter set up correctly? Do you have access to a different motor you could try?

i tryed a new moter and got nuthing different. i have tryed re-programing the speed control to many tines to count. the throtle trim on the control is set at 50/50. so i dought that is the problem but i will check it out.
