Just wondering what are the best battery packs for the Emaxx

i would have to say the Sanyo 2400. Already assembled or build the pack our self. i have both and theres no noticable proformance in building a pack your self, or buying it already assembled.

Currently 3000 mAh Stock metal Hydrides (SMHs) are the best thing available, but to use them you must have a NiMH-compatible charger to treat them right. They have just as much punch as, if not more than, 2400s and that punch will last the whole race without trailing off after a couple minutes. Get them, if you can.

My experience with batteries basically comes down to a couple of things. 1) Treated right, most any battery will be "sufficient" 2) The best battery isn't always the most expensive, etc.. I've had unmatched packs that toasted anything else in my toolbox, including some big dollar batteries.

My .01.. not feeling worth .02 today :)
