I need to make a custom bumper, but I can't find anywhere that sells a 1" thick block of uncut high density foam.

Here you go.

It might not be exactly what you want, so do a google search.

Try this site. They have foam for almost all applications.

The home depot sells flat foam knee pads in their garden section. It's dense and usually comes in colors. You get enough for several bumpers for cheap. I use my wife's old electric turkey knife to cut and shape it. Works good.

Good idea! That sounds like the perfect material for it. My hobby shop didn't have any foam, and local hobby stores only had those dense styrofoam balls and rods.
