Buggy identification, Associated what?

I have a buggy that I got from a friend and would like to know exacly what it is. I have seen pictures of jeepinator's buggy which is an Associated RC10, and that is what I think my buggy is. The only problem is my buggy has all anodized red parts, the chassis is not a tub it is flat with sides that screw onto the chassis towards the rear. I don't think the chassis is alumnium, but I don't think it is plastic either. I have never had a graphite chassis so I would not know if it is or not, but it is extremely light. I don't have any pics but could you anybody please help me out with just the info I have given? Thanks in advance.

Maybe the chassis is fiberglass? Hot Trick used to make a red fiberglass chassis for just about any R/C car.
