sorry im kinda new to the rc world, oh well, is it that the bigger the pinin gear the faster? or what? give me info on this plz

The more teeth the pinion gear has, the faster it will go, less brakes (not a prob in R/C), more heat, more wear it will have. Visa Versa for a lower toothe pinion.

For a Spur gear, its the opposite. The bigger the spur, the more accel, the smaller the gear, more top end.

Sasoon, It all depends on the car/truck, the motor type, where you run (on road or off road) & even how you drive it. Every motor has it's own charactaristics. Some have a lot of torque, some run best at high rpm.

What type of vehicle, motor, & where do you run it? It also helps to have the transmision reduction if you know it. If not someone may still be able to fill in.

i have the xx4, with a matrix stock motor (old).....anyways....how bout with a 12T motor?
