I just read the online article on the RTR on-road shoot out. I liked the TL01 a lot. Especially because this would be my first on-road car. How does it compare to the test? Is it really that ruged? Is there anyway of getting it over 15mph? Im very interested in buying one. Please help out. ;)

you also should get some oil shocks for it and adjustable tierods and camber rods. Theres just a bunch of hop ups to make it go faster than 15mph.Look around you will find them and megatech like mentioned above makes some good stuff.

It can definitely go beyond 15MPH. Mine goes beyond 35MPH, but it is heavily modified.

I think this are the hop-ups that you need most:

- Set of ball bearings
- Speed tuned gears
- Carbon shafts

The TL-01 is a very nice car for a novice.
But be careful of dropping to much money on hop-ups.
BB, ESC and Shocks all add up to the price of a TB-01 with BB included, atleast up here in Canada where everything is expensive.

You will have a great time racing your Tl-01 ,especially if you run it in a "Spec" class of racing. We run a "spec" class for them at my track www.tarmacraceway.com (http://www.tarmacraceway.com) and they are a blast. We even ran a 2.4 hour endurance event and they held up well (half of the race was run in the rain).
