GEARING SUGGESTIONS???

I have a flying 11 turn Speed Gem 2 triple motor for my Traxxas Stampede. I love the speed, but want better acceleration, what would you suggest? I was thinking from a 17T to a 13T pinion and an 87T Spur. But which would you recommend, or am I not thinking clearly at all???????

O would that that maybe a 10t pinion might be better I am running a 17T on my 19T speed gems. I am really not sure what you should run but 10T sounds more right to me than the 13T. I would think that at 17T its gettign hot and does not have much ACC at all.

That would give you more acceleration, but the drop in top speed would also be obvious. Try dropping to 15 first.

I would not try 15T first I think you have it way over geared as it is. Keep in mind that it came with a 20T running a 18T pinion and your running a 11T motor. I would go down to atleast 12T or 13T. As far at the manual no help there and traxas wont help much at all.
