XXX T vs. Factory Team T3

I'm about to buy a new truck and I was wondering which one I should buy. The XXXT or FT T3?

Well, sort of the standard answer here....a good driver can win with either one! Both are quality vehicles.

That being said, I went with a Factory Team T3, and here's my rationale. I was originally going to get a Team version. Ball bearings are a must. I thought I'd just add in titanium turnbuckles and I'd be set. Well, adding the turnbuckles to the Team car, you're $15 from the price of the Factory Team. $15 for full graphite load out is quite a deal!

The FT T3 and the XXXT are about the same price. The XXXT is newer, and has great geometry. The FT T3 includes full graphite and titanium turnbuckles.

So, in a nutshell, if you're a Losi guy, go Losi, and if you're an AE guy, go AE. If you aren't brand conscious, I think you get more bang for the buck with the T3 (titanium and graphite). The trade-off is that the XXXT is the newer platform.

If I had it to do over, I'd do it the same way again. But you wouldn't go wrong either way.

it seems to me like the xxx-t has been winning alot more but the have a lot more upgrades than the stock truck you'd buy. so maybe the t3 would be better. i think personally i would go with the t3 too.

Can't go wrong with either one, they're both great trucks! Pick out of a hat and if you pick a truck and say to yourself "oh crap", get the other one http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif.

they are both great but i bought the xxxt because i did not want to buy a truck that because its a much older design(T3)stands the chance of being replaced because of the new losi and kyohso trucks. I wanted a more up to date truck that would be current longer. Plus this truck is simply awsome even a crappy driver like me can tell. but in all fairness my buddy still blows me away with his T3 and my other freind with his T2, i said i was a crappy driver.

I'm an AE guy . The T3 is better on most tracks but the XXX-T excels on others. Either truck is exellent but I would go for the T3. And concerning the races: There are rumors that TL pays unsponored AE driver who have TQ with *** to run mains with TL cars just because of the ad. Plus, TL spends lots of money on races compared to AE.
