The 766 brushes are STOCK lay-down type, pick up the, "Quasar" brushes, I believe.

No, I think those brushes for mods are 729's(though I'm not certain). I'm not as well versed in Reedy's model numbers, I have easier access to brushes from Fantom & Lightspeed, so I buy those(but most of them are Reedy brushes, just not certain of the number translation). Fantom's brush that I prefer is their 312's, it's a high silver mod brush that puts out great power(though you do have to change 'em out fairly often, but that's the usual trade-off)..... :)

the 767 is a good stock brush though...

Yes, it's the silver in brushes that makes them wear the comm down more quickly(but it's also what allows them to make great power). That's been the trick to formulating brushes, balancing out conductivity, lubrication, & wear..... :)

Grizz: Do the high silver content brushes wear out the comm quickly as well, i.e., will I have to cut my comm much more often?

Thanks all. I think it is the 760X according to the chart on the link jeep posted.
