I'm pretty new to the rc seen. i had a rc10gt but sold it cuz i'm off to college and need all the money i can get. it gets pretty boring sittin in my dorm all day so i'm buying another rc. i've decided on the hpi micro rs4 because of the limited space i'm given (the lobby, and local tennis court). i know the micro has been out a few years now so my question is should i wait for a newer updated version, or go ahead and buy one now? all feedback is appreciated

I am sort of in the same position as you are. I have a MRS4 and I did not bring it because of limited running space. If I were you, I would get a Team Losi Mini-LST as I would like to do. More appropriate for your (and my) running scene. :D

If you really want a micro touring car, go with the X-Ray M18 instead of the HPI car. We race micros indoors all winter long and the M18's blow the doors off the MRS4's hands down. However, Adanmtxt1 might be right, you might be better off with a micro truck because of the great ground clearance. You could run a truck on regular carpet, rough concrete etc., whereas a micro touring car would bottom out on some surfaces.

hijacker has a good point, that if you really decide on getting a micro tc, go for the M18. I had forgotten about that!
