I'm not quite sure what you want to make. Are you making a stick pack or a side-x-side pack?

I think he's trying to take the stick pack apart... or taking a side by side pack and making it into a stick pack... I dunno. If it's a manufactured stick pack and you are trying to take the bars off, they are welded on, I don't think they come off unless you just pull...

How was the pack configured before you started taking it apart? Was it in a side-x-side, saddle or other?

Hold the bars with pliers or needle-nose and heat it with the soldering iron until you can pull off or shake off. With that 120W iron, NO MORE than a few seconds. Just curious, why make a stick pack from a side-x-side?

OK, now I am thoroughly confused. If the stick pack wires broke off and the plastic tube fell off, why make a stick pack again where you could break the wires off again, and have the tube fall off again, when you already have the cells in a side-x-side?

Yes. This is a clearer explanation to my above instructions. Lay the cells on their sides. Take a small needle-nose plier and with it closed, insert it below the battery bar you want to remove and the cell. Be careful not to touch the metal on the adjoining cell or you'll short. Heat up the bar with the iron and when it gets soft, pry open the needle-nose and it will push the bar off the cell. With that done, just heat up the other side of the bar and pull off. Then repeat for the remaining bars.

If you are taking apart a stick pack attached by those thin strips of metal, just pull and twist and clean up with a dremel and grinding stone.
If you are taking the battery bars off a side-x-side, follow the instructions I posted.
