Does anyone know if this charger will charge Nmh batteries? Or even 2400 nicads?
thanks for your help!

I have a 910 and used it to charge my 2400. I charge it for 45-60 minutes and I guess that's enough.
Dunno about the other batteries though.

I would think that would be enough time to charge that battery. I know that hobbyco does not give verry good instructions with that charger! I have been out of r/c for about 10 years now. So I am a little lost these days!!

Duratrax sells several models that are ac/dc for under $100 that will do nicd and nimh.

If you want cheap you can get a nicad/nmh, charger at radio shack for $25.00, its a trickle so it will take 4 hours to charge them but hey it's $25
but a peak charger will do better in the long run..... ( it will help your battery last longer and give you a better charge)
check out towerhobbies.com I have spend about $1000 with them and I was treated great every time.

I don't think it will charge NiMh batteries. It should be able to charge 2400 NiCds, though. You'd probably be better off buying some sort of newer peak charger (there is a large selection of "budget" models out, now). Your batteries will thank you.

I have a 910 charger and have been charging nimh packs from 2200mah to 3000mah with it for about a year with no problems it does take a while to charge them you just have to monitor the pack constantly to make sure you dont cook it. As for the duratrax intelli peak chargers i had the mini pulse the deluxe pulse chargers and had nothing but problems with them not fully chargeing the packs i even bought a new battery pack to make sure it wasnt my old battery packs i even returned them for new one's and still had the same problems.

Intellipeaks say that they charge NiCd and NiMH but I wouldn't do it, there was a post on the board not to long ago, if you do a search I'm sure you will find it. The thing is that NiMH need a linear charge, and the Intellipeaks pulse charge. They can do NiMH's but they really are best suited for NiCd not NiMH. You will get false peaks with NiMH and the packs will go out on you faster. Get an intellipeak and stick with 2400's they are great cells and extremely raceable.

I read that post! I have no intention on going to NMH batteries as of yet! From what I hear they dont pack the punch that the nicads do!

Well I bought a INDI 16X2.5!
I must say thank you guys.
I have never had so much run time & so much power from my Nicads. When I first got into R/C about 14 years ago if your charger didnt have a timer on it, it was a 24 hour charger!
So when I got back into R/C about 2 months ago I opted for the 15 min charger... Boy have things changed... Thanks again!

Well i also charged nicd packs on the Duratrash intelli junk crap chargers and had the same problems i did with the nimh packs one of my local hobby shops quit selling intelli junk charger's because anyone that bought one returned it.I now have a promax activator and it works great on nicd's and nimh pack's.
