E-Pede or to E-Maxx that is the Question.

I currently have a Traxxas Stampede with a 19T Speed Gems, Futaba Radio, Tekin Rebel ESC, RPM Front Bumper, RPM rear bearing carrier with red seal bearings, and a nice Pro-Line Body. It is a nice truck but I have been thinking about trying to sell it and then come up with the rest of the money and buying a Emaxx. If I dont I will buy some Masher 2000's, RPM front bearing carrier with bearings, 17T?? speed gem, and put turnbuckle kit on it. Try to help me make up my mind. I will have to run the emaxx stock for a very long time if I get it. Also if you have any sugestions for the pede let me know. (I am not trying to sell anything so dont ask please)

Unless you have stock in a battery manufacturer, maybe you should stick with the pede. I say this because you've made it clear that you won't have much money for a while after buying the e-maxx. The e-maxx requires 2 batteries and the run times aren't much different from a single battery vehicle, meaning you get half the run time out of your current battery supply. The e-maxx is a ton of fun even stock, but it does require twice as many batteries. Either way you would have fun, but you'll probably have more fun hopping up your pede than waiting for your charger to pump out 2 packs so you can go run again.

Incase you didn't know the E-Maxx ESC has been recalled so it may be a while before you can but one. I say this because if you want one "now" then go for the Pede. But if you are willing to wait then the E-Maxx with its updated ESC, now with brakes and made by Novak, is the one I would suggest. Digex makes a good point about the batteries. The decision is yours and yours alone so make a list of features you want in a truck and then bump them against what the Manufacture advertises and make your choice that way. Don't forget to consider what type of terrain you will be operating the truck on.
