hi I have 2 sanyo 2400 and 2 1500 batt packs and was wondering what is the best discharger? What is the easyist discharger? I have a gecko discharger it was recomended to me by my LHS for my 1500's is this good teh directions say to just plug it in and leave it very easy. Here is a pick from tower: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXJ282&P=7

Thanks alot :)

A regular bulb discharger with a cutoff switch would be best for stick packs (well, most any pack).

You can make a bulb discharger by wiring ten 1157 automotive bulbs together in parallel. One of the better cut off boxes around is the Deans Black Box II. Deans no longer makes them, but I know that my local hobby shop still has a couple in the show case. Check around.

Just buy a Racer's Edge bulb discharger w/cutoff and you'll be set.

I bought one of these and I really like it. I got the 30 amp model. It's fast, it has a fan and your packs will only get a little warm. Just plug it in, hit the button and unplug it when the lights go out,... nice!
