all you half to do is cut the male connector off and get a female connector, then you strip both the wire a little bit.......then you solder them to gether. (don't forget to put electrical tape around the part were you solderd)

It's probably from the old Kyosho days when Kyosho used plugs opposite Tamiya. You can buy/make an adapter, or better yet, cut the plug off and install a new one. Just remember to double check polarity when installing the new plug.

Got a hobbico 900 charger from a bulk deal on ebay and noticed that the connector to the battery is female not male like the regular chargers, is there and adapter or can this be switched out for a male?
