Novak Ionic Charger

This charger has some nice features, and novak changed the shape of the case. Its now in the shape of the higher end millenium(square). It has .5, 1, and 4 amp charge rates...its disappointing, i know...its also offered in a DC version. Costs like 80 in DC i think..its a nice package though. AC/DC should cost about $130 i think. Charges 4.8 cells, nicd, and nimh...its a nice package for the price. Id rather buy this charger than Duratrax intellipeaks. My nimh cells were ruined from the (Intellipeaks).

I'm disappointed with this offering. Why doesn't it have an adjustable volatge (like .5-5 volts instead of only three options). If anyone is sticking only to NiCds, the intellipeaks are a much better choice (cheaper, too).

The Ionic is suppose to be ultra simple to use and inexpensive. If you want adjustable, get the Millennium. If you want the best, get a Competition Electronics Turbo 35BL. :D
