What would be the best backer color for a pearl blue paint.White or silver ?

White will give it a great overall color (i.e. brighter), and silver will tone it down just a tad, and black will give you a darker blue.

I usually back the pearls with white, it makes them "pop" more than any other color.

gold will give you a "hotter" color too...

True, gold would make it look "warmer", if blue can look warm.

Very helpful topic. I did just back my first body in silver, didn't have any rattle can white.

great! i to am painting pearl blue and was thinking should I back it with black, wite or indy silver!
