Those of you with XXX's that changed your pivot block to the Trinity part. Which did you use? The 0 or 2 degree? Doesn't the pivot block directly reflect how much toe in you'll have or is that adjusted elsewhere? I don't own an XXX, this is just for research. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif Thanks.

when they say 2 degree and 0 degree they are talking about anti-squat.

If the xxx is still close to the xx (I assume it is) then the rear pivot blocks really shouldn't have any effect on anti squat (The compression of the rear suspension during acceleration) unless they pivot the arms in the horizontal plane.
I would think they effect toe just like you said.

that would make sence since anti squat is already adjustible and rear toe-in is not. I guess your right

The Trinity block comes in 0deg and 2deg ANTISQUAT. I do not know why they make both. They made a 2deg and a 0deg for the XX, so I guess they decided to do the same for the Triple, even though it is adjustable on the Triple.
They both have 3deg of toe. You can buy eihter one and adjust the antisquat with the little shims that came in your kit.
BTW, I have heard that the 2deg is no longer in production for this reason. I wonder how many people have bought both @ $30, not knowing that they did not need to.
See ya...

There are adjustments for toe in the kit though, right?

Only on the front end. Rear toe is fixed, you need to buy additional pivot blocks to get different rear toe.

Wait a sec. I have the triple-x and I thought u adjusted the anti squat by removing or adding thoes white shims under the pivot block. With out the shims it results in 2 degrees and o degrees w/ them? Am I wrong?

LosiMan, the toe is fixed at 3 degrees, which can only be changed with hub spacers. The shims under the pivot block changes the anti-squat by changing the height of the pivot block itself.

Yeah I know that I meant those white things not toes white things. So if u can get 0 or 2 degrees of anti sqaut by using a different pivot block what are the whit shims for?

thats where the confusion is. With both the stock and aftermarket blocks you can change the anti-squat with shims. For some reason trinity made a 2 degree and 0 degre pivot block

You can use the shims to adjust antisquat.
The stock block is two degrees. Shims in the front make 4deg, shims in the rear make 0deg.
If you wish to adjust the rear toe, you will have to purchase the optional rear hub carriers.
See ya....
