New Guy here

Ok here is what I am looking for, I am hoping someone can help me out.

I am looking to learn to fly some kind of small air craft with hopes of adding a video camera unsing ham radio in the future. The started does not have to be that big. Just need something I can learn with.

I have a liitle over 3 acres here at the house and then 27 acres of farm land next to me on one side and 5 acres on the other. LOTS of room.

I once tryed a park flyer that you had to toss in the air and I never was any good at it. I would love to find something that I can sit on the drive way. Watch it go and when the battery dies, glide it right down to a nice landing.

Any ideas?

If you are looking for something to mess around with while sitting in your lawn chair a good start would be an Air Hogs Aero ace. They are around $30 and found at wal-mart and toy's-r-us stores. They are small and easy to fly and loads of fun, also they are pretty much indestructible. I have bounced mine off my truck, telephone poles, a camper with enuf altitude they bounce off and keep flying. You will not be able to add anything to these little planes but it would get you started with basics and they are a ton of fun for very little money. Hope this helps.

The AeroAce is a good idea to get you started and to give you a feel for flying. I would then get the HobbyZone SuperCub. Its a great beginner's plane, and may have enough power and be stable enough for your future video needs.

I was just talking to a buddy of mine who is in to planes himself and he offerend me a 6ch radio for free. Now thats going to save me a lot of money and open up some planes.

Be very careful at what you choose as your first plane, going all out for something not designed for a beginner will leave you with lost money and a bad taste in your mouth for radio control planes. I have heard the HobbyZone super cub is a good beginner plane also, im just saying dont go full tilt into it with something beyond your flying skills. But buy an aero ace anyway you wont regret it, the price to fun factor is off the chart. :D And congrats on the free radio. (free stuff rules!)
