Hello again! well, for painting,...here ya go...
i had a tutorial posted, but moved some photos, so i will "re-do" it for ya..
first, get a body!! you will have one in your kit

decals,,WEEEEEE!
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m8/z-man280/rc%20painting%20101/P9070028Small.jpg
now, time to wash and dry it... dish soap and warm water will be just fine

time to paint!! remember, mist your coats in
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m8/z-man280/rc%20painting%20101/P9070032Small.jpg
thats after 4 (!) coats
make sure ya get all in your corners too

you are using black, so we can skip backing up your colors..but for future reference, and colors other than black or white, always a good idea to back them in white or black.

cut your decals close for nice results. DONT FORGET, if your body has prtective film over it, peel it off before appling decals!!

after all are applied, trim your body out.. This can be a bit intimidating, but dont let it be. Using a good hobby/razor knife, score your body where you want, around the body lines. You dont have to go completely thru, but go over a couple times if you are unsure. when you make that first initial cut, the rest will " peel" out.

and, using a reamer, or a drill, make your post holes
http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m8/z-man280/rc%20painting%20101/P9070050Small.jpg
and mount it up!!

as for set up, follow your manual for a good starting point and a very neutral setting. From there, especially on the car you are getting, it should come with a set-up page for different driving situations.
