One more try. Anyone that is on the fence about buying a lathe, just do it. You do not need to be a "serious" racer to warrant the need for a lathe. All those old, tired motors that run like doodie probably just need the comms cut and brushes replaced, and voila, new motor. I had four "worthless" speed gems that ran like doodie, then I bought a lathe and cut them, replaced the brushes, and now they are all better than new. It is MUCH cheaper in the long run (or even short run for that matter) to buy a lathe vs. buying new motors all the time. BUY A LATHE!!! You will not regret it. ;)
