Anyone have this truck? It looks to be pretty good quality, I'd just like to know some pros and cons about it, thanx.

I don't have one. I find it odd that every time I read about one of the Kyosho factory drivers racing one, they put in the associated front ends and back ends on it which makes me wonder what is left of the Kyosho? So if their own factory drivers make the truck 2/3 associated, why not just get the Associated T3?

Krazie, kyosho DOES have Graphite* parts for the ultima series, but they do not manufactor them to the public at this time.
Only the factory racers use the parts. :)

Msyt, where do you hear this from? I have heard nothing of the sort. I know greg degani races his st with full Graphite* from kyosho, but other then that stock.

Alright I'm pretty sure I'm to get this truck soon based on the rcca 2wd shootout article, the fastest lap in the ft t3 was 23.3 and the st was 23.8. The FT T3 is a really hopped up version of the T3, with almost every hopup on it. When Kyosho or other companies put out more hopups for the ST, I think it will be able to beat a t3. What do you guys think? Also, is there a MIP CVD kit for the ST? Thx! :)

I like the build of the st, i guess cause it looks just like my ft t3 ;) .
Im not sure if mip offers cvd's for the st yet, but no doubt soon will. I have a feeling that the mip cvd's for the t3 will fit right on though. Also dont get discouraged by the rc ca article. As stated by them, kyosho doesnt offer a set up as the t3 and xxxt does, so i think the ultima can be tuned to match either one! Also check out xtremes new mag, the winter champs shows the ultima rb with a graphite front shock tower. It looks nice! It placed second in stock 2wd!

Visit http://www.rccaraction.com/articles/2wd_shootoutA.asp
They have a review on there of the Losi XXX-T vs. Associated RC10T3 FT vs. Kyosho Ultima ST Type R.
Hope this helps.
