I am just recently starting to get back into the RC action after about 8 years layoff from off-roading with my RC10T. I recently purchased the TL01,which as everyone everyone already knows is an entry level car.
I am having one heck of a time keeping the car from flipping over on corners at the local carpeted track. I have installed HPI springs (yellow in front, purple in rear), sway bar on front and ride height is approx 5-7mm. I just purchased an Traxxas XL-1 ESC which will help lighten the car (and eliminate that nasty AA battery pack.)Maybe my HPI road tires are too sticky for the carpet? I don't know if it is my driving style that is making it go over, but all of the other guys at the track are flying like they are on rails. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? (besides not upgrading to a better car) http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif

This is known as traction roll, try a harder
tyre compound, or switch to good old 2WD and
realy motor round.

Yes, I'd say your tires are too sticky. I would try one or all of these things: dial in a little more negative camber, harder tire compounds (try foam tires that the other guys use), and lower the ride height. A combination of these should work for ya.
