Thanks Fninja! I've been waiting for a shot of that body. Me likey. Don't care for the windshield sticker though-Who thought splitting that down the middle was a good idea?

The line down the middle of the windscreen is the wiper.

That's ugly! Who makes those?

Apparently Tamiya.
FXX? Looks more like a modded enzo with a hideous wing to me.... ;)

Thats exactally what it is Dave, modded by Ferrari to be insanely fast!

made by tamiya 200mm wide. The kit wheels have a offset so the set up could be ran on a 190mm chassis. It can be mounted on a 200mm chassis just fine with a zero offset.
BTW: the entire rear section, wing, exhaust, and bumper is a single piece of plastic wich I hate. So you cant run the body wingless without it looking all ghetto.

The real one's even got exhausts instead of tail lights :D

Yeah, the FXX is just a heavily revamped Enzo. It is an awesome little car, but I think the Maserati MC12 is a more beautiful iteration of the Enzo. Same underpinnings, but different bodywork and numberous modifications. Nice of Tamiya to pull this out of the molds for us.

I second that. The FXX is really cool. I just think that the tamiya body looks... cheap!

I'd say that Tamiya body does a good job of scaling the real car. The real car seems funny looking too...

Painting the body all black with black wheels and without the stripe would look great though.

Thanks you for a pic of one other then red! I have been pulling my hair out trying to pick what color to paint it and didnt want to go with the red, but still wanted to keep it legit, scale, and "ferrari"

Hmm do you think black would look good with a dark gray stripe, wings, and wheels? Can anybody do a pchop? :)

Lol, that car looks like a Skunk. I think I'll stick with the all-black :)

This car looks hella wicked in black. I really don't like it in red.

But no stripes, or I'll have to agree with the Skunk idea. BTW, there's a damn dead one near my way home that just smells like ****. Even worse. I've never had a Skunk experience before, so it's been pretty awesome, but now i'm sick of it since the smell is starting to impregnate the car really quick (Detail: I'm at 55 MPH on that road!) and NO ONE GETS RID OF IT :bang: :bang: :bang: . That said, please, no stripes. :)

Seems like TH will have these soon. A set of the FXX wheels is only around $10 on eBay. I'm gonna paint mine all black. No stripe, no extraneous stickers, no antenna hole (spektrum receiver), and no body mount holes (gonna use velcro and some high density foam). It's gonna look scale.

Beautiful! Let us see it when done, will ya?
