Odd Glitching

When ever i turn on my car. It makes a very strange, high pitched sound from the esc. is this normal? Also, whenever i turn the wheel to the left, it starts to drive. my radio is an airtronics rival sport(hopefully an m8 in a little while) and the esc is a rooster. What could be sausing this?

I once had a similar problem like that where when I turn the wheel the car went forward a little. I just fixed it by recalibrating my ESC. Try that.

I have had this problem in the past. Twice in fact. Both times the Tekin receiver was to blame.
There is some sort of channel bleed over, whereby turning the wheel one way causes the THROTTLE channel to advance and turning it the opposite way causes it to brake (only slighlty in both cases).
The squeel is your ESC just barely starting to engage (actually the motor itself is making the noise).

It is all going to be OK.
