it would depend on what motor you want... stock or modified??? if you get stock the best overall motor is the P2K and the MVP and GM3 have very high RPM so they're for tracks with longer straightaways. if you get a modified...ummm. i like fantom. trinity and reedy make good motors. theres peak performance and a few others but it all depends on what winds ur speed control can take. if you have a mechanical... about 19 and up. an ESC could take anywhere from the lowest wind to the highest. mine has a limit of 15 turns.

BrahmaBullSQ,
Yes, I am familiar with ESC and turns and such. I was asking what motor to get for off-road and if some are better for on-road or off-road and or if it doesn't matter.
I have a Trinity D4 13T in my on-road and it flies, but does it have the power to go off-roadin'?
As far as brands, I know I want Trinity or Reedy. And I do want a modified for speed.
What would you recomend for a modified probably 13T motor (since that's the lowest my ESC goes)?
It's a Truck btw, not buggie.

Go with a Trinity Monster Maxx Pro motor. They have great torgue and speed. I am using it in my stampede and it works great. Good Luck with finding a motor.
You can use one of those maxx motors in a car thats not an emaxx? Does it help efficiency?
