Im gonna get the graphite b3 upgrade for my b2, and i was wondering if it will make a big difference. Like.... one that i will be able to notice??? And is the B3 worlds ugrade good??
I have the B3 Team. Couple weeks ago I broke the front A-arms, rear shock tower, front top plate, and front shock tower. Then I changed all in graphite parts, but I did not notice any better in performance to my car. Also the graphite front A-arms broke again in a minor crash. So I didn't feel the grahite parts are any stronger.
But the front shock tower and the rear shock tower, which gave me the only notice difference, it was much much stronger than the original parts. especially the front shock tower. So if you gonna upgrade your B2, just pay few more bucks to get the graphite front shock tower. This is my suggestion.

My experience with graphite was negative. Keep in mind I do not race. I ran my rs4mt into a center curb dead on at full throttle with the original chassis with no damage. I did the same with my brand new graphite chassis and it snapped like a twig. Of course the parts were never intended for this type of abuse, I guess the graphite parts are just more brittle. I didn't notice any gain in performance, but I'm not being timed on a track either. My judgement? If you have the scratch for graphite and are serious about racing, go for it. If your a basher like me, save your dough for a new kit.

Graphite is light, period. That will benifit your car in alot of ways, acceleration, speed. As for its breaking...all my car parts break, except the aluminum ones. When a car doing 20+mph hits something, alot of force is exerted.

Graphite breaking isn't necessarly a bad thing. When the setup makes a huge difference minor crashes that tend to bend metal stuff and then go unnoticed for a long time. Graphite has a good memory, meaning that it goes back to origonal shape, or breaks. It's also really light. That's my two cents http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/redface.gif)

I have a FT B3 and it seems more responsive than the plastic. If you crash alot stick with the plastic. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
