Hi every one, well i got my hands on a old ofna i think its a pirate 10. Its like new and i even found a mip 360 pipe for it :D well heres the pics and i do realize body is bad

That airfilter looks only slightly shot. How much you pick it up for?

ya airfilter is gone, i got it off a friend for free and i got that pipe to, engine is a os max 12 and it has compression. Goign to clean it up and check it over and try to get it to start :p

there to big to be mini t shocks, there aluminim about 4" long. I started cleaning it up and replaced that air filter that crumbled. The MIP exhaust in pic is much better than the mufler it came with :D

The shocks look to be of Losi's design. Definitely not Mini-T ones though, way too small. Given the time period, maybe shocks that came with one of the original Losi cars from way back when. The springs were probably switched out by coincidence making it look like big Mini-T shocks. It looks like the top of the shock the keeps the spring in place is a snap-on piece of plastice that you thread an allen head into to tighten it or unscrew it to remove. What color are the shock shafts?

Whoa! Thats ancient! I would think that it was like 5-10 years max. But 19! Thats one old engine.

there silver in color, they maybe losi shocks but I don;t know. This is the hobao version of the pirate 10 as it at one point was a buggy but someone removed wing and put truck body mounts on it. I am going to try and get this thing running sometime today :D

mine is slightly different maybe the version one, the chassis is flat with buggy style side parts that screw on and the radio box has no lid

ok i got it started and it went first pull :eek: it sounds really different than i expected almost 4 stroke sound. I will get this on video later.

i love the look of that carb on the os motor. i know that metal carbs rob horsepower but its just so shiney.. :eek: so im guessing you ran it already?

i love the head, remind me of an old dirt bike or snowmobile single cylinder... i had an old kyosho sandmaster with that same looking design engine...RETRO!!!!!!!!!
