Is there such a thing? If there isn't im gonna make a million bucks off it. Every time me and my friends drive a pebble or somthing jams the steering. anyone else have this problem and if there is a cover who makes it?

Team associated is going to be selling one. In my tc3 manual it mentions it with a part number. I will have to find it.

i think associated will not produce the steering rack cover. i also saw the ad number in their ad and it wasnt listed in tower. but it is easy to make lexan covers from the leftovers of lexan bodies.

Thanks everyone, I found something on the AE web site about how-to make one so I will do that.

Yes, AE did play with the idea, but they were never very happy with the design of theirs, so they just posted the design on their website for those of us who want to try it. Last I heard, they put production plans for it on the backburner....

I've found it to work better at holding dirt in rather than keeping it out!!! I made it exactly as per the AE site. I still have the .pdf sheet too in case I wanted to make more. When I finished I thought "cool, this should work"...it's, well, OK at best. Like I said earlier, it seemed to keep the dirt in better than keeping it out. Makes it more difficult to keep your steering rack clean too.

that is interesting. it makes sense too. I have not had any problems with getting the steering rack gunked up but only time will tell. The best thing that i can suggest is to stay of of dusyt and rocky surfaces that would throw things up into the body.
