No, in a 4 minute race, you could even get along ok with 2000's, so 2400's will work just fine. I run 2400's exclusively right now(in modified touring car), & I've never had a problem making run time in 5 minute races(likely under a heavier load than your truck will produce, TC's usually have more traction, which means more load on the batteries), so I'd say you'll be fine, though I wonder if a 10 turn may be a bit too much for an offroad truck. Trucks need lots of torque, but 10 turn & under winds really weren't designed to put out alot of it. I'd think something like a 12 or 13 might be ideal..... :)

We have run the 10-turn on the track and it is noticeably faster. Thr track has VERY long straights so it gets a chance to stretch it's legs. Thanks for the info.

Any experiences? I have a Sonic 2 10T DBL that is just itching to get out on the track, but only have 2400 cells. We run 4 minute heats, onroad oval with an onroad setup T3. We run a Sonic 2 12T DBL right now with very little loss after 4 minutes.. my question is whether or not a 10T DBL will require a lot more or a little more runtime from my packs.
Thanks
