View Full Version : P2K HELP NEEDED!!!

Hey anybody ever get a piece of grass wound around the aramature of a p2k? I cleaned it out as well as i could, but it still wont run!! The motor is really new (2 runs) and I really dont want to have to buy a new motor 'cause I am only 15 and am on a tight budget. Please help me!!

Did you take the motor appart? There are two screws on the top of the motor can. Unscrew them, and remove the springs from the brushes (helps when putting it back together). Take the armature out of the can. Maybe even take it to your LHS. I really find it hard to believe that a piece of grass could screw up a motor... Maybe there's something in the way of the brushes or something. Hope this helps, details about the motor's armature and brushes could help with fixing...

Hey tod thanks, I already took it apart and shook all fried grass out, The aramaure seems undamaged (duh) and the burshes are or seem to be fine. Both the burshes and the aramature are the regualr stock ones that come with the standard (not P2K pro) P2k. thanks
