Has anyone else seen these things go up in smoke with very little use? What's the deal?

My friend has the windings on his come off and his car came to an abbrupt stop. They might burn up because of wrong gearing since they have such high RPM's and people are not gearing them to compinsate?

My local hobby shop now has 14 of them with fried windings in a box. They replaced them for the customers no charge, but are still waiting for Trinity to acknowledge a problem and take care of it.

YES I HAVE! Mine burned up at the end of my first battery pack...smoke and all. I'm in the process of getting a new one from my track's distributor. I hope they're not ALL like that!

They're definitely not all like that. I've had mine for over a month, & it's worked perfectly from the git-go(it hardly even gets warm, as a matter of fact). Hey, Nairb, you should have seen joels car go up in smoke last night, one whole pole is completly black, and boy did it stink, also, it fried his Cyclone, he was having a rough day yesterday, did not even get his truck to the main, and his buggy dumped during it main, he was talking of quitting RC, LOL

Hey what kind of XXX's do you guys have? Im contemplating between buying the XXX-t and XXX-t spec. Any suggestions for which to pick up? And also, are you guys talking bout the Green Machine 3's cuz my friend is about to buy that for his XX.
