XXX-S/XXX-4 Li-Po Pack?

Has anyone tried to fit a li-po battery in a XXX-S or XXX-4?

Well given that that the XXX-S and XXX-4 use a stick pack I'd think it would fit fine seeing as how LiPo packs are made close to stick packs in size. However they are designed around a heavier battery pack on one side so you will need to add a fair amount of weight to get the car to balance out properly.
