how can i maek one? or is it better to buy one?? im going to my lhs tom so any advice would be helpful!!

My dad made one a few years back. It's not too hard if you know something about electronics and resistance and stuff. You need resistors (like 20amp) and some other stuff. I think that you could get the parts and stuff for less then the cost of buying one, but then you have to build it and stuff - and you don't know how well it'll work. It's probably easier to just spend the money on a bulb discharger or something. That's what I did.

I still use the bulb discharger I made years ago. Just go to the local Auto Zone (or other car parts store) and pick up 10 rear tail light bulbs. They are small (about 1 3/4" tall), they have two filaments, and draw 2 amps of current each bulb. Just connect all the outside brass cylinders together and all the ends of the bulbs together with good solder joints. There are many ways to do it. Be creative and/or see how others' are hooked up and solder yours together. Just hook it up to your batteries with some wires and you're in business. Just be sure to disconnect the discharger before the lights go all the way out.
