Ok i was getting a yokomo MR4TC (myabe still) for $100, and then i saw a guy on here with a tc3, hasnt given a price yet but i think itll be around the $100 mark.
so which is better? iv looked through the mags and the mr4tc has great fisnishing positions, but the tc3 has a direct drive shaft.
well like i said which is better?

Neither is better than the other, it's an apples & oranges thing. I have both & I love 'em both. The Yok really handles like a dream(it's great in modified), but it can be a pain to work on, it takes a long time to get to many of its parts(it takes me close to 30 min. just to change a spur gear). The TC3 may not handle quite as well(but its real close), but it's very efficient, & it is EXTREMELY easy to work on. You can change almost any part on it in 5 minutes or less, & then there are the diffs & it's shaft drive. The TC3's diffs I think are THE smoothest I've ever seen, & they stay smooth a long time, plus the shaft is very tough, & it won't stretch & need replacement regularly like belts do. I've though about converting to all TC3's, but I don't think I really need to right now, since both cars do so many things well. I do think the Yok is best in mod, though & the TC3 seems best suited for stock racing(because of the efficiency of its drivetrain).... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Also one thing to think about is that Yokomo parts are usually kinda hard to find.
Where as the Associated parts are supported by most all LHS and ALL the mail order houses. And they always have the most common stuff on hand for the Associated vehicles.
