I was wondering if anyone here has an E-Flite P-47? I do and I absolutely love it. I skipped the stock motor and gearbox and installed an E-Flite park480 brushless and WOW it totally rocks. I am using parkzone P-51 batteries in it and get 7-10 min flight times. Just wondering if anyone else loves this plane as much as i do.

A couple of guys at my field have this plane and they love it too. Its a great looking plane that flies as well as it looks.

I was given a P-51 Batt as a second for my C-27B by mistake, The stock Batt gives me 10 min flights, however I am lucky to get a minute with the larger batt. What charger are you using and how long do you charge it? I was looking at the Park Zone P-51 but was talked into the Stryker. The clerk said the scale warbirds are not as much fun, and all you can do is fly in circles. Now all I do is fly like a drunken hummingbird at 50+MPH.

AJ, I am using the park zone charger that came with the P-51, set at about 1.5 amps. As for warbirds not being as much fun... I am not sure if that person is a flyer or not but warbirds are alot of fun, I fly my P-47 inverted,loops,rolls,split-s,immelmans and its always fun to chase the swallows that come out and get on my six. Mock strafeing runs on axis trains and rail yards are always fun. Ok I must admit I am only 33 but I am a great admirer of the men and women who did their part in WW2 to give us the freedoms we enjoy so much today, the greatest generation this world has or ever will see. No more than a month ago I had one plane, now i have seven :D P-47,P-51,A-10,PT-17,Tiger Moth,Pico-j3 and a newly aquired mini-slinger ;)
