newbie just ordered Hobbyzone supercub

:D Hi I'm new to the site. I just ordered a hobbyzone supercub and cant wait to recieve it, does anyone have any experience with this plane? do you think it's a good trainer?

Hey Mac! A couple of us at the office just ordered the Super Cub, as well. One of the guys already has one, and loves it! :D

I recieved my hobbyzone Supercub today :) was a snap to put together. until today I've never touched the controls of a r/c airplane. the anti crash technology works. saved me on numerous occasions, didnt work for trees though he he :eek: my yard is 2 acres but I have a few trees on the borders wich I hit and there was absolutely zero damage to my supercub. I purchase it at diversion hobbies and they sent me and extra battery and prop. wow quick shipping too!!!! I'm hooked I cant wait to go to a big field and get some experience. I self launched on my first flights and it took right off this is my first plane but I HIGHLY recomend it, If you could only see the smile on my face gotta sign off as the seahawks are having a preseason game, wishing everyone clear skies :cool:

Hi, I am new air planes and new to the super cub my self.
I agree with you , it is a nice little plane and easy to fly it.
I never flown an RC air plane in my life, just flightsims on computer.
The first day was a succes, 3 runway take off (paved) and 3 safe landing on a grassy field. I was pleasently surprised.

Do you use attach the plastic wing braces and the plastic landing gear covers?
I find it unnecesary.
what do you think?

also has anybody tried to run the plane withthe optional 8 cell battery, what result did you get? longer flight time ? higher speed?

any other suggestion for a newby owner of a super cub?
