I believe you are refering to the Trinity Blue Aluminum kit, right? Well, you are not missing much, Aluminum is much weaker than the steel ones it comes with, So, say you break that bulkhead, again, the screws will break with it, trust me, it happens.

If you really want your car to look sweet, get some TiScruz from Lunsford, you will pay quite a buck to get them, but they are sweet looking when you have them all on your car.

EDIT: Have you tried out www.horizonhobby.com (http://www.horizonhobby.com) ? they may have them, if you still want them.

I saw those titanium screw sets on Stormers site, holy COW! are they expensive.. I think it was like $80 for a set....
Titanium is nice and all, but that's just a bit too much.

I just read on Trinity's Bulletin Board that they are no longer stocking XX-4/Street Weapon parts. So, if you have been pondering picking up that little something, better grab it quick!

Yes, those screws are expensive, for sure!

I can't figure out how to paste a picture into this message, but, can anyone tell me if the screws in the back of this Losi XXX-S bulkhead are Titanium? It's the picture in the second row, third column at the web page below - http://www.rcracing.com/Page.cfm?InfoID=1393&StartGal=17&GalPage=2

Thanks RCRacing for the great photos!!!!

Tower still has some aluminum parts for the xx4. Not much though! I just spent over $100 on hop ups for my xx4. Guess I waited to long to do it... I had to call 10 different shops to find a Trinity motor clamp! Oh well

I called stormer hobbies just now, and they no longer carry the trinity screw sets for the xx-4.. anyone know if it's still made? I can't see why it wouldn't be.. or does someone know where I might be able to order it from?

thanks

ronb, those were great pics, i have yet to see good ones like that of the XXX-S, and yes, those definately look like Titanium screws to me, so do all of the other ones that are 'silver', any of the black ones are steel.
