I burned up my armature in my MVP. I have a P2K armature, can i put it in the MVP case? Can armatures be swiched? What about brushes? Thanks

not positive, but just think about it. seems like it would be a big no-no. you can buy individual armatures for your MVP. brushes can be swapped.

There's a good chance that it'll work, but you just can't race it, because it's illegal. The thing you have to watch is how the armature centers in the magnetic field. If it doesn't pull too hard to one end, & the brush alignment is good it should run fine. What's wrong with the P2K motor? Joe

Railman, not arguing, but just questioning the logic of swapping out stock motor hardware being illegal ...
Are you sure that is illegal ?
Since stock motors have to adhere to strict guidlines, you would think that they would be legal to swap.
I have also heard that only "approved" manufacturer's motors can be used (stamped with ROAR thingy). Why, in the very interest of budget racing, would I not be allowed to make my own dang motor ?
Stock racing rules are utterly failing to meet the original objective. You can buy high quality machine wound mod motors for LESS than these dang stock motors ! Why is that !?

Jeep, ROAR strictly prohibits the use of hybrid (i.e. can from over here, arm from over there) motors. I agree that the price of stock motors has become high, but atleast now they are rebuidable. I can remeber when it took six slot machines to make it through a season.

i think someone should read the rulebook (duh) before opening their big trap.... ( www.roarracing.com (http://www.roarracing.com) )
it only makes them look stupid to "assume" they are right when they are once again wrong...
no jeep... i didn't mention YOUR name.... LMAO..
peace out... :)
