I just got a new 3000 pack and I was wondering what is the highest voltage the 3000's should hit? Charger isn't the best for 3000's I hear.

What charger?

Are you talking about peak voltage?

A good battery will have a low peak voltage. Somewhere between 9-9.5 volts.

Anything that peaks above that is sign of high internal resistance, which is bad. High peak voltage shows that the charger is having to apply more pressure(voltage) to get a charge into the pack.

It's the plain Intellipeak charger.

Watch the pack as it charges. It should jump to around 8.6 volts, hold there for a bit, then start moving up. I turn mine off at 8.90-8.95 volts. I get monster run time, and awesome power.

Oyster thanks a lot man that was the voltage I've been taking mine off the charger. It wasn't getting any higher and the pack was starting to get warm. Thanks a lot for the help. :p
